Emma announces the 25 (okay, 26) honorees in its Emma Twenty-Five initiative
announced to the Emma Community December 1st

emma 25We're ready to announce the Emma Twenty-Five honorees - charitable groups nominated by Emma customers who are doing good work in their respective communities and could use a little help getting the word out. The 25 groups below will receive a free Emma account (and a template, and a year of service) in hopes that by reaching out to their audience through email, they'll be able to generate a little more activity, raise a little more money, and do a little more good.

This was our first edition of the Emma Twenty-Five, and we had no idea what to expect. Would people actually submit nominations? Would the nominations be in French? Would it be regular French or some sort of Provençal dialect? Turns out you guys are working with some pretty amazing groups out there. You're helping kids who need it, you're working with the underprivileged, you're raising awareness about important issues - you're doing good work. For that, and for not making us learn French, we salute you.

We received 82 nominations. Wow. The list was impressive and daunting, and picking 25 was no easy task. In the final selection, we considered things like geography, and need, and the earnestness of the nomination itself. But it was by no means a scientific process, and we're only sorry we couldn't offer something to every group on it. Thank you to everyone who contributed a name, and we'd love to hear any thoughts you have on the Emma Twenty-Five program.
